Seasonal illnesses come in many forms even though they all create similar symptoms. The cold, flu virus, and other can lead to a wide variety of symptoms such as:

Influenza – Patients with the flu virus, or influenza, experience a variety of uncomfortable symptoms because of the virus’s infection. Most flu cases take approximately 2-3 weeks to fully heal, but patients can prevent the flu with a flu shot!
Common cold and rhinovirus – A common cold or rhinovirus is a special virus that specifically travels through a patient’s airways to cause an infection. Most cold symptoms last a few days or up to a week, but the common cold doesn’t have a current vaccine. Get plenty of rest, drink fluids, and get symptom treatment immediately.
